Wow, I need to post more

It's been forever and it just popped into my brain that I in fact have a blog. Nobody reads it but it might do me some good to post anyway. Life is way out of control at the moment, need to make some drastic changes and get things on track. Think simpler, think kinder, think gentler, more honesty, less anger.

New rant

Having worked as a Web designer for the past 16 years, yes, 16 years really, I have had to deal with all aspects of the online community. Of all the things I have had to deal with among them graphic artists, programmers, project managers, know-it-all clients and more, I find one type of person who stands out among them all as being the most annoying type. Not only do I think they deserve a slap in the face but I feel they should have their computers taken and be restricted from having Internet access. Who am I talking about? Squatters. Plain and simple. They register a domain, sit on it and do....nothing, really, nothing. Really? WTF is wrong with you people? Get a life already. Trying to find a new domain for clients is almost impossible and squatters just make it worse. I ran into this recently, I wanted to change the domain for this blog, it took me over an hour typing in different combos. I finally got frustrated and tried one of my favorite and appropriate sayings "All Three of 'em". Yeah, I know but it's better than walking around yelling "Jesus, Mary and Joseph!" I'll be back later. Ciao

And now, for something completely different...

I had pretty much given up on the whole blogging thing as I work 5 days a week and really relish the idea of not touching a computer if I'm not on the clock. But, after giving it some thought, I'm going to try an experiment, maybe a few posts a week, see if we can make it daily. Heck, I might even stick to one topic and become a niche blog, only time will tell.
